This varietal was aged in oak barrels for almost 2 years.  It has lots of fruit notes and smooth tannins.  It presents ripe black currant, vanilla, and roasted oak notes. This wine is soft with balanced acidity.

A new one for Hamilton Oaks!  It is a big wine and has lots of fruit forward, with notes of bell pepper and plum.  Aged in French oak for 25 months, this adds complex flavors and aromas.

A favorite of our vintner, you'll detect dark plum and spice notes.  It was aged 23 months in French oak barrels.  This is a dry, full-bodied wine with great complexity.

With its notes of spice and black plums, this Meritage has a big mouth feel, great structure and tannins that will hold up well over time. As an unfiltered wine, it should be decanted to allow "the good stuff" to settle to the bottom. Allow it to breathe for at least 20 minutes prior to drinking.
